Frequently Asked Questions

If you are coming in for an upstyle we recommend its best to wash & blow dry your hair the night before your appointment. You should give it 2 shampoo’s & a small amount of conditioner only on the ends of the hair, there is no need to style or straighten it just make sure it’s fully dry.

When coming for a trial for your wedding, images of hair styles & make up are great to have as a starting point as to what kind of style you prefer. Also a picture of your dress would be great if you have it to help decide on what works best. If you have any piece to go in the hair or a veil these could also be taken along. A white top is a good idea as wearing some strong colours can influence how your make up might look

To start preparing your skin for a spray tan its best to exfoliate & moisturise well for a week or two beforehand but not on the day of your tan. Wear loose clothing & flip flops if you have them if not something loose fitting for your feet. Don’t wear any deodrant on the day as the skin will stain.

Your hair should be washed a day or two before having a colour done, don’t wash it on the day of having your colour because this may cause your scalp to become sensitive to the colour.

The hair needs to be long enough for the wax to grab.  We would recommend that it is at least 1/4” for underarm, bikini, leg.  Facial waxing at least 2mm.

Yes we would recommend a patch test if it is your first visit to our Salon.  It only takes a few minutes and must be done 48 hrs beforehand.

Once you have had a patch test done and your parent/gaurdians consent we can make a booking for you.

If you are going to have the Eye Trio with the Lashes this needs to be done at least 24hrs beforehand.  A patch test must also be carried out 48 hrs before to insure no sensitivity to the glue.  And on the day of application we would recommend that there is no eye make worn.
